Filmed tests unworkable and impractical

Commenting on reports that international travellers may need to film themselves taking a lateral flow test as a part of the reforms to international travel, Henry Smith MP, Chair of the APPG for the Future of Aviation said:

“It seems unduly bureaucratic and cumbersome. Logistically, the system would fall over very quickly. I can envisage all sorts of problems such as people not being able to get through to the private clinic at the time they need to do the test. That mitigates against travel and the recovery of the industry."
