As part of the APPG’s visits programme, Shockat Adam MP for Leicester South visited East Midlands Airport were he was briefed by East Midlands Airport and DHL on a number of issues including the value of air freight to the local and national economy, the East Midlands Freeport and the role of the airport in supporting employment across the East Midlands.
