Reports that Portugal to be removed from red list welcome
Commenting on speculation that Portugal will be removed from the ‘red list’ of countries from which foreign travel is banned because of the risk from new coronavirus variants, Henry Smith MP, Chair of the APPG for the Future of Aviation said:
“This is positive news. Portugal is a significant destination for British holidaymakers.
“It being off the red list is a sign that we are slowly getting back to normality for not only people being able to enjoy summer holidays but for the package tourist trade.”
