APPG holds inaugural general meeting

Following the General Election, the APPG today held its inaugural general meeting to reform the group.

At the meeting, the group decided to expand the remit of the group to cover travel and aerospace and as such the group has changed its name to the APPG for the Future of Aviation, Travel and Aerospace.

The new APPG aims to build on the work undertaken in the last parliament by the APPG for the Future of Aviation and APPG for Aerospace.The following officers were elected fro 2024-2025:

  • Chair: Christine Jardine MP

  • Vice Chair: Graham Downie MP

  • Vice Chair: Baroness Foster

  • Vice Chair: Gavin Robinson MP
