APPG hears from Baroness Vere

Today, the APPG for Future of Aviation heard from Aviation Minister Baroness Vere on the Government’s priorities as well as taking questions on the sector's recovery, sustainable aviation fuels, consumer protection, airlines, airports and ground handlers.

The APPG also held its AGM and elected the following officers:

  • Henry Smith MP, Conservative - Chair

  • Christian Wakeford MP, Labour - Vice Chair

  • Baroness Foster - Conservative - Vice Chair

  • Lord Blunkett - Labour, Vice Chair

  • Margaret Ferrier MP - Independent - Vice Chair
